• Camera Access: The App requires camera access to read QR codes and barcodes. Video/image data is processed locally on your device and is not stored or transmitted to our servers.
• Scan History: Scan results are saved locally on your device by default. This data remains under your control and is not uploaded unless you explicitly enable optional cloud backup.
• Usage & Diagnostic Data: We may collect anonymous, aggregated data (e.g., crash logs, feature usage, device OS version) to improve App stability and performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide core scanning, decoding, and history management features.
• Diagnose technical issues and improve App performance.
• Comply with applicable laws and protect against misuse.

3. Information Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may use trusted third-party analytics services that receive only anonymized, aggregated usage data. We will not share your information unless required by law or to protect our legal rights.

4. Data Security

We implement standard security practices to protect App integrity. Since scanning data and history are primarily stored locally on your device, we recommend keeping your device secured with a passcode and only granting camera permissions to trusted apps.

5. Your Rights & Controls

• Clear your scan history anytime via App Settings.
• Manage or revoke App permissions through your device's system settings.
• Disable optional cloud sync or request deletion of synced data by contacting us.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

7. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Significant changes will be communicated via an updated "Effective Date" and, when applicable, an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
