Hushburg runs a fully transparent, open-entry live auction house where any registered user can join a bidding room and win real products at a fraction of retail price. The format is called Highest Unique Bid: the participant whose offer is the highest amount that nobody else has matched exactly wins the item.
Products sold through Hushburg Auctions may be brand new or pre-owned. The condition, full description, and actual product images are always disclosed in the listing before you commit to booking a seat. You know exactly what you are bidding on before you spend a single taka.
What is the Highest Unique Bid rule? The participant with the highest offer amount that no one else has matched exactly wins. If two or more people submit the same offer, all matching offers are disqualified at that amount. This rewards strategy and precision, not just spending power.
How Joining and Bidding Works
- Book your seat. Pay the one-time, non-refundable seat booking fee to enter the live auction room. Your 1st Call (opening offer) is included in this fee. No separate Call Security deposit is held for the 1st Call.
- Place your 1st Call. Your opening offer appears on the live leaderboard immediately and is labeled with its real-time status: Highest Unique, Dismiss, or Cross.
- Submit further Calls if needed. From your 2nd Call onward, a refundable Call Security deposit is held based on your new offer amount. You can keep placing new Calls for as long as the auction is running.
- Watch your status live. Every offer by every participant is publicly visible with its status and timestamp. There are no hidden bids in a Hushburg auction.
- Auction closes on countdown. The participant holding Highest Unique status when the timer reaches zero wins. Their Call Security is applied toward the final payment plus delivery. All other Call Security deposits are fully refunded within 6 to 24 hours.
Fee Structure
A one-time charge to join the live auction room. Covers your entry and your 1st Call. No Call Security is held on the 1st Call. Not returned whether you win or not.
Applies from the 2nd Call onward. The amount is based on your submitted offer. Returned in full within 6 to 24 hours if your Call is not the winning bid.
The Three Bid Statuses
Every offer you submit in a Hushburg auction is labeled in real time with one of three statuses, visible to all participants in the room.
You are currently winning
Your offer is unique (no one else offered exactly this amount) and is currently the highest such unique offer in the room. If the auction ended right now, you would win.
Tied with another bidder
Another participant submitted the exact same offer amount. Both offers are disqualified at this number until one of you places a different Call.
Beaten by a higher unique offer
Your offer was unique when you placed it, but a higher unique offer now exists in the room, moving ahead of you on the leaderboard.
Player Badges
Every participant in a Hushburg auction carries a badge that reflects how active they are in that specific room. Your badge upgrades automatically with each new Call you place, and is visible to everyone in the room.

Hold Timer Advantage
The Hold Timer is the cooldown between your turns. New participants start at 50 seconds. Each time you place a new Call, your timer shrinks. By the 8th Call, you are acting every 5 seconds while a first-time entrant waits 50. Experience compounds into a real tactical speed advantage in close finishes.
